Three Months Later

Dear friend,

I've been in Seattle for almost 3 months now. It's been great so far. Despite the locals warnings I still almost don't believe I will not see the sun between the months of October and May. The weather here has been amazing. Finding my way around the city, getting settled into work, finding new people to hang out with, has all been challenging but I think I'm going in the right direction. The code only sometimes wins.

Boston was a great city to experience my college years but Seattle has really been treating me well. It wasn't easy moving out here but I think I made the right choice. There's so much to see and do here. For the first two weeks I basically ate at a different restaurant every day, they were all great. Except for the wrap shop above the REI next to my apartment, that one was only OK. I also got attacked by a crow when leaving. Overall it was an OK day.

I have been able to try so many new types of ciders, I still haven't had the same cider twice. I've been on a few hikes, there are a ton of amazing places to see so close to the city. I hope to go on a few more before the army of the dead, oh I mean before winter. I've met a couple of people here so far, they're all great. Getting out and being active during the week is something I still need to work on. I still need to find a rock climbing gym I like. And a primary care physician. I'm working on it.

I've been taking pictures along the way. I hope you enjoy them and I hope to hear from you soon.

Your friend,
Sanders
