Free College
Support free or very low tuition for community college for vocational classes.

Require all universities with endowments of over $30 billion to contribute 1% of their total endowment each year ($300 million+/year) to the founding and operations of a new university in Ohio until it becomes self-sustaining, at which point another community will be identified (the “Harvard Creates a New University in Ohio Tax”).
Not sure why this couldn't just support a college already in the state of Ohio? Also why Ohio?
Cancel Student Debt

Propose an act called the 10×10 Student Loan Emancipation Act which would let the federal government buy private loans from students, students then pay 10% of their annual income every year for up to 10 years, after that the debt is forgiven.
Economy
Tax the Rich
Does not support a wealth tax. Wants to enact a Value-Added Tax with a lower rate or exclusions for staples and a higher rate for luxury goods. Tax capital gains at the same rate as income.
Living Wage
Does not support increasing the minimum wage, instead wants to give everyone $1,000 a month. To look at how this would impact minimum wage workers, if we assume 21 business days in a month, with 8 working hours every day, that would amount to $5.95 an hour extra ($1000 / 21 days / 8 hours). With the federal minimum wage at $7.25 right now that would come out to a $13.20 "minimum wage" instead. Obviously this comparison is not entirely the same as you would not need to work to receive the Freedom Dividend. However this does mean that $15 an hour would be a greater benefit to people making $7.25 - $9.04. In 28 states the minimum wage is less than this $9.04 threshold. These 28 states make up 52.9% of the US population. The states are below.
