They walked down the path together. “Hey we should stop here”, he said as he went to lie down on the grass. “What are you doing?” she asked. “Come look at the stars” he said while looking up at the sky. She shivered a little as she looked around and then went to join him on the grass. He snuggled up next to her. “Are you cold?”. “Umm, yes. Let’s just go home.” “Looking up at the stars just gives me such a different perspective. It’s almost like we don’t matter.” She looked up and saw her breath as she breathed out. He always did this. “I don’t know. I just think it’s beautiful,” he said while staring up in awe. “Come on let’s go,” she said while getting up and brushing herself off. She turned around and watched cars go by. “I don’t know why I put up with this, I have to get up early tomorrow” she said while watching her breath dissipate in the crisp fall air. He looked up at her, “What do you have to do tomorrow?” He got up. “I’m busy. I’m always busy now. You should know this” she said as she looked back at him. He walked up alongside her and put his arm around her waist. “I’m sorry” he partially whispered while looking at her. “Are you?” she said as she nudged him off. She started walking ahead.
